Mandate

Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord. And in His law he meditates day and night. The definition of a mandate is the commission to do something. Men are commissioned to be the head of their house.  That includes your family, your spiritual family and your spiritual walk.  Join us the third Saturday in February, March, April and May for a time of encouragement.  Each week we will have a special speaker and a short message.

  • What does this tell us about man?
  • How does this apply to my life?

The Prodigal God

There were two sons in the parable of the Prodigal Son. Traditionally, readings of the parable of the Prodigal Son have focused on the younger son and his reconciliation with his father.  Too often we overlook that third character–the older brother. Both of them were lost. The older brother’s self-imposed standard of morality is not the same as truly knowing and following Christ. In this study you will find the true heart of God as we take a look at the Father and the two sons.
